Hi, can anyone recommend a good camp site in the Peak District as we are visiting the area soon?

For us, Caravan Club, Losehill, Castleton. A beautiful spot central for walks from site, pubs and good eating within walking distance in Castleton and a half-decent bus service from the village.

I agree with (caravan club site) Loosehill - its a good site and handy for day trip to Buxton and Bakewell.

We stayed at this weekend. Very good in my limited experience. Lots of motor homes there.:thumb:

The site is in Hope and a short walk from the Travellers Rest- an excellent pub with good food They even allowd our dog in which always helps me rate a site.
