Calor propane thread size.

Hi we have some German friends coming over next year and they have thought about swapping one of their gas bottles to a Calor incase they run out, I have a spare 6kg bottle that they can have but they need to get a fitting to connect to their system, they want to do this before they come over so will have to source the parts from over there, I know it is a left hand thread to the Calor but I am just trying to clarify for them the thread size, Google says 5/8”or 21.8mm, could anyone who knows for sure clarify for me. Thanks

That is what I thought as well but it says 5/8” Unf so I am now very confused, thanks for the info.

I have managed to find a bottle and check, it is as you said so thanks once again.

Just checked mine in the garage and it's 5/8" x 14 tpi British Standard Pipe form (BSP), but obviously a left hand thread.
