Does anyone know when/if they are reopening?
Their website announcement hasn't changed for a very long time.

Majestic is open again, though with a smaller range

Suspect it’s never going to happen.

But if it does I’ll be there on the 16th October

I would look out for a 'NOZ' store...... their wine is brilliant and a lot cheaper than supermarkets,..... go online and there is a map of where the stores are.... its not a regular store, just a lot of end of lines, before Covid, we were buying N.Z. wine that we paid about £10 a bottle out there and it was 3 / 4€ a bottle.

Visited pidou last week. They have a greater range than they show on their website. The one at transmarck is open 24/8

I know. Just as I said --- very little.

Will that last you until Xmas? :Eeek:

But works getting back to normal so I’ll be crossing most weeks and my new co worker doesn’t drink 😉

Come back. " East Enders " Fill the bottom bunk in the cab.....

The house red was like vinegar if I remember.

The dogs bo#*#cks

We used to use majestic in cocquelles but switched to just using the french supermarkets I didn't think the selection or price in majestic was any better apart from on wine from other countries and the range a lot more limited than in British majestic stores.
I never tried the others there are loads of places selling cheap wine in France if you want cheap try a rose wine box from the agricultural merchants it's just like you would expect it to be!

And one was the wife I think

Recall there was one maybe two documentaries about the owners. Didn't they divorce, then the guy shacked up with a young east European girl. ? Later bought a night club or something.??

Can anyone recommend a big Carrefour in Northern France (not Calais) with a big car park?

We popped into the big L'eclerc just around the corner from the Bergues Aire a few days ago. 2m height barriers on every entrance but I spotted a high transit going in down a little service road so followed him in. Big cave area inside so bought about 15 various bottles. Getting back out of the car park was a nightmare, I managed to squeeze past some dumpsters on a little side exit to escape.Screenshot_20210925-191029.png 👯
