As title.
Any one got an idea of cost in a car for tolls route.
Doing this run?

we only use the toll road from where the a16 becomes toll at Boulogne to rouen was only 13 e and saves many roundabouts and speed limits then its mostly dual carriageways all the way to irun except the toll bit nr bordeaux and save 100e

We've done that route over 20 times and started by avoiding tolls altogether.
Over the years we've learned e.g that the ring road round Tours is "roundabout heaven" (tried doing it towing a caravan behind the PVC too).
So now we pay for ::-
-the stretch after the free M-way to Abbeyville
- to go round Tours
- the two sections on the N10 between Bordeaux and ST Jean de Tyrosse
- and then the stretch to avoid St. Jean de Luz and Irun itslelf
But we always call in at Al Campo in Irun and buy £30 in the Supermarket to get the discount off the fuel - which is quite cheap anyway.
The stretch involving Dreux and Chartres can be a pain too.

Without checking that's just over £40.

But if you can - try travelling early morning and late evening on the non-toll roads. Much quieter.

P.S. I don't mind driving at the limited 50 mph on French singled carriageway roads - but if you're in a hurry .....
