Cabin fever ?

Quite probable... or a combination of lot of things...... But I gather by the mere fact you guys commented I am not the only person to have noticed a drop in joviality then :-)

I have noticed a few snide remarks from some of late to the few threads I post on...

Especially when I have quoted wrong...

But does not worry me...... I just treat them with the contempt they deserve and usually give them one of these from the Likes, Thank you, Love it, Nice one list =

So if any one has tried to belittle me or upset me or think they are better than me and gets one of them (Dustbin, (Popcorn)... imogi`s...

You have not/will not get one over me .... cos I am not so childish as that...

So in my eyes you have made yourself look a *rick and not me...

And if the hat fit`s.............. Tough Shit..... :lips: My :moon2: ........

S A D has taken hold of me early this year, notwithstanding that I have not used the Homie since August! What with Son having holidays and CPC Courses, The 93 year old belligerent MIL being her usual self demanding weekly visits from HID , 100mile round trip! I am currently serving penance with the paintbrush!
Just had the Alde fluid changed, at least I could pretend I was away.
Roll on some settled weather

I also have not been in the mh since Sept apart from routine checks and one round trip to the garage to have the starter motor replaced. It feels a lot longer and as swmbo is not well there is nothing on the horizon not even a week out for christmas markets ( which Im not really interested in but at least its a trip bah humbug)
Generally feeling a bit pistoff.

Yep, I've noticed it too, and also in myself. I put it down to the depressing weather.

So yesterday I cheered myself up by booking the Chunnel ready for our winter trip and planning a different route.

With a nice glass of malt by my side............................! :drinks:

A few just love to post angrily. A sneer or a "take that" as they hit "Post Reply"
These people should wind me up more than they do, but In my mind's-eye they are a pitiful sight sat alone in a grey vest and underpants putting people right on the internet. Poor sods. :D

Just had a lovely 2 hour walk at Felbrigg Hall estate near Cromer, dry bit of sun. Good morning both ways from everyone all ?
Then sat down lovely bowl of homemade chicken soup followed by cup of tea and a chocky biscuit.
Get out and enjoy maybe it will help to take the grumps away from some of the posters.

Maybe it’s just the younger ones (myself included) being a tad envious reading all the posts about people making plans for heading to Spain over winter whilst we’re still here putting the tax in to pay their pensions (not at all bitter.......much???????) ?

Are you spying on us Jim? That sounds like my hubby!!! :ROFLMAO:

I'm SAD at the moment as the darker nights and cold weather really affect me ... other than going to pick-up our Smart ForFour at Glasgow a month ago when we stayed overnight in the camper we haven't slept in a camper since 8th January and our new motorhome is still virgin territory! Seriously going stir-crazy now!!!! ?

Believe it or not, This is what the Psychotherapists are recommending all those with depression should view on a daily basis rather than take prescription medication. I agree it works for me and saves the NHS a fortune, hope it helps all of you with SAD syndrome at the moment,
Les

I absolutely LOVE Billy ... now that he's not swearing so much he's even better!

I was feeling a bit stir crazy, so we went up to Bakewell this weekend, stayed overnight at Clumber park and visited my mum on the way home. Lovely couple of nights away and we're back home again.

I’m always more than a tad grumpy, it’s genetic, can’t fight your genes. ;)

I have a fight with mine, every morning. The buggers came off easy ok last night? ,But can as Hell fasten the waist button this morning!!

So if I tell you I am in my 21st year of retirement. you wont get mad?.(y):D:D Oh! and STILL paying Tax.:swear: (if it makes you feel any better?)

Seriously though, yes "Cabin Fever" get to us all I suspect. we have been seriously restricted by health issues this last year following a Flood the year before. Looking forward to a couple of weeks at the end of the month with family and friends and being back in the `van.

We’ve just spent the weekend at Bakewell, staying at the greenhills campsite just outside town??

Went away to the forest of Dean in October half term at Camping in the forest sight Bracelands near Coleford.
Damp and wet still it was a break i needed.
Quite a sight to see the river Wye in full flood at Symons Yat, and the middle span of the bridge in Monmouth fully blocked by whole trees.
We need the sun back, even though i work outdoors i'm still needing more day light.
I don't see the house in daylight till the weekends then i can't be bothered to go out if it's still raining after getting wet durring the week, again.
Although the van did get a wash last weekend.

I haven't been away in the van since we came back from France in July. Seriously missing it but in fairness we've been preparing to move and now having all our belongings in storage waiting to move into a flat next week we've been quite busy home hunting.
