Just trying to book sites in mid September, looking really busy out there, never seen sites booked up like this even non electric, guess it’s where no-one is going over the drink!

I just paid £66 for 2 nights at c&mc york. Booked because it’s the only site that’s near enough fir me to walk in to city . But omg I think it’s expensive Especially given that they don’t really want you to use their facilities . We won’t pay more if the prices go up

Too many sites are still closed or have no facilities open.

We are on a Premier Site called Trawsdir just outside Barmouth Bay, North Wales. 2/3rds full at £21 per nth fully serviced. Excellent facilities and beautiful views over the beaches and sea. And really great pub 5 mins walk.
Love it.

True, but we have our own facilities, so not a problem.

We are on our 5th THS on a tour of the North of England. We've got a few more to go.

Absolutely stunning locations . We've paid between £7.50 and £11 a night.

It's been a real treat visiting places we haven't ever visited before pretty much on our doorstep.

Sounds like the perfect location for Kerry Hound and me (y)
I am sure Kerry Hound will love it here, plenty of room to exercise in the field and in the woodland area. We will continue to welcome well behaved dogs and owners for as long as the field remains clean. We have provided a dog septic tank for all those biodegradable poop bags. And both our local pubs are dog friendly too.

Im currently on Woodsidefield site in sunny Sodbury and its very nice indeed
Have it all to myself tonight
If you like a nice quiet site in a lovely location immaculately presented then you cant go wrong

£12 Funster deal what's not to like

Off for a walk down the pub soon for a few Guinesses

Like I said highly recomended

Cheers

I've been meaning to write a full review since Mumma Clanger and I stayed at woodsidefield over the bank holiday weekend (sorry Quackers!), and I can say that we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our maiden voyage in "Beryl" the Bus. I think we were their first paying customers after they officially opened.

We arrived just after lunch (quite literally, which we had just eaten in the picturesque nearby town of Chipping Sodbury) on the Saturday, and were met at the gate by Mrs Quackers who showed us where the facilities were and we were soon pitched up in the beautifully manicured field. (Apparently it's not normal for pitches to be so well mowed). Fresh water tap (with hoselock), grey water (both gravel dump and separate bucket) and chemical toilet disposal points all provided and suitably sign posted, and all were immaculate.

The field itself is enormous - much bigger than the 5 motorhome limit would indicate - and surrounded by trees, with a woodland to one side. We were also greeted by a flock (brood? gaggle?) of chickens that came to see what was going on. There are also geese and ducks (that we heard) and deer if you are luck enough to see them. We did hear buzzards screeching during the day and at least 2 different owl species at night. Apart from that, the place was tranquil and restful.

We had a meal and a drink in the Cross Hands pub (Greene King), which was a pleasant stroll back down the lane. The food was reasonably priced for pub grub and remarkable good for the price.

We managed a day trip out on the Sunday, staying until the Monday. Due to a cancellation, like Monty don, we had the place to ourselves. We came home relaxed, with a bag full of sloes picked from the hedgerow, ready for making sloe gin. :)
