At the moment we are in Northern Portugal and we start heading slowly home tomorrow. When I get home I will be upgrading to lithium and will need to buy a 350W (preferably) or 250W Voltronic solar controller and a Voltronic 30A or 50A B2B.

Looking at the forum these seem to be as rare as hens teeth in the UK at the moment. Can anybody suggest any Voltronic stockists on our way home across Northern Spain and Western France please.

Alternatively I could try French or Spanish Amazon with a delivery to one of their drop off boxes. Can I do that with my UK Prime account and has anybody done it successfully?

Many thanks for your replies.

I don't normally correct spellings, but I think you should be looking for a Votronic solar controller, not a Voltronic one. Voltronic is a different electronics company.

Amazon show 2 350duo’s in stock.
Or found this, I know nothing about company

Just checked their location and it’s well over in the north of France, probably best to go through Amazon, I bought mine through that company and Amazon in 2018 with no trouble

Thanks. But the two on Amazon UK are coming from Germany so could end up paying duty on them. Has anyone bought from this company on ebay?

I have a friend currently in Spain ordering items for a self build, Votronic and Mastervolt along with other German sourced items are on his list.
He orders from Germany etc and the items arrive within a few days.
Buying for delivery to U.K. is a minefield of problems with duty and so on so this works for him.

Yep, but unfortunately it won't work for me because I don't have a delivery address in Spain or France. Hence using Amazon and delivered to their drop off boxes

Has anybody bought stuff from Amazon France or Spain using their UK account and getting them delivered to a drop box in that country please?

Hi Peter, while we were in Spain earlier this year I ordered quite a few items on Amazon Spain for delivery to our campsite. All delivered okay and on time. I’ll do a screenshot of how to change the Amazon site on your phone app.

I find all the Couriers have drop off points,DHL, SUER, UPS,etc you should be able to order and opt for a Drop Off point near your location, it’s a regular occurrence in Spain for them to email you saying they cannot find your address and advise they have left it at a Drop Off point to which you provide the email advising this and your Passport at the DP point in order to obtain your goods.

Click on the ‘three lines’ as shown…

I then created a delivery address in Spain. I’m not sure how to order to an Amazon Dropbox.

Your UK Prime benefits don’t extend to Europe so you may incur delivery costs.

I’d speak to Martin funflair to confirm that

I’d always chose Victron
I had Votronic on the Flair but Gel not LiFePO4 batteries and the regulators were great, on the Palace I changed the standard regulators to Votronic and for some reason they would not work reliably with our LiFePO4 batteries, they were checked out in Germany and declared to be fine but there was still an issue so 12 volt planet refunded me and I fitted Victron and had no more problems I will add that I know other people with the same van and set up as us and they are running Votronic OK.

You takes yer chance;)

If you're coming back via Vitoria-Gasteiz, there are a couple of large MH dealers to the left of the road on the way towards the city. You have to take next exit after you pass them. One is Autocaravanas Norte, with a reasonable spares section - we got a spare water filler cap there - but whether they stock specific parts I've no idea. And they do take a very long lunch hour!
