Have just discovered the entry step on our van, 2015 Nexxo, is full of water. The door step appears to be a self contained plastic unit. We have had a lot of rain this year. Have dried it out but water
still coming up.Looks as though it is coming from the underneath. Has anyone else experienced this ? Looks as though it may be a warrantycase as van just still in but a long way to go back to dealer for them to say it’s not! Only discovered as doormat soaked, no sign of water coming in round door, etc. Suggestions please. Van just passed it’s damp check! 39685B64-EB9A-472B-965D-FF60BD34E9CB.jpeg112BCDC1-666F-4548-B992-AA6D1923F5F6.jpeg

Probably your door surround rubber seal. Someone inside with a torch, someone outside with a hose pipe. Start dowsing the bottom of the door and slowly work up. The person inside should see where the water is coming in to the van.

We have the same step, it appears to be well sealed around all the edges and we don’t get any water leaks even though we’ve driven through big puddles and had torrential rain
Does your van have a double floor? Could there be water getting in there?

This would make sense as the bottom of the black rubber seal on the door was wet. Been trying to find if there is a drainage hole that could be blocked but haven’t managed to find one yet. Drying out at moment so will try the hose idea when dry.

No doesn’t appear to have double floor. We have never had any water in before, always been very dry, that is why we are concerned. All suggestions very welcome.

Our Benimar has done the same, was the door catch adjustment not tight enough, only doe it now if the door is not shut properly, I.e. on the first click needs to be 2 clicks if you follow me.
