I bought a tub of wipes from Halfords. They do a great job.
It’s difficult to get to the bits over the windscreen. How does everybody else do these bits?

Not long enough!
The cheap ALDI spray on black streak remover is pretty good at it, I carry a cheap extension brush for getting above the windscreen (y)

You will need a hose to wrinse it off after and Ive I’ve no doubt it’ll remove any wax as well unfortunately

A tumble dryer sheet in a empty squirty bottle fill with water leave for a couple of hours, spray on dead flys leave for a couple of mins and then wipe off with a soft cloth, best thing I have found leaves paint shiney and no smears on windscreen.

I stand on the tyres and stretch over - very easy.

This is always a problem on motorcycle visors. The solution is to 'dissolve' the flies with warm water.

Kitchen towel, soaked in warm water. left on a for few minutes and they just wipe off

For a larger area, newspaper/micro fibre cloth/tea towel/etc instead of kitchen towel

I recently discovered this method but I'm still about 2" too short to reach a small area centre top each side.

Although I used to sell a bug remover, I never found it great..

I still use a very old trick that works amazingly well

get some old newspapers... give them a good soaking... ( do not use single sheets but whole newspapers )
Plonk them on affected areas ( they stick quite well so you can do vertical surfaces too ) and leave for 15 minutes.
Remove newspapers using water ( I just use a hose that is turned right down ).. Any fly bums left will wipe off easily

I can see someone in your avatar who might be able to help you out there. He looks about 2-3 inches taller.(y)

Started 2009!
In northern Germany in May whilst the other was shopping in the supermarket I watched a sparrow neatly removing the dead flies from the front of the cars, but sadly the bird did not clean the area above our windscreen!
