Just a word of warning, Make sure your van is in good condition as this road will test it to the limit's.
The road is a bone shaker, and will loosen everything not bolted or screwed up tight. I feared for our van on this road as the pounding from the road surface was more than i thought a road vehicle could withstand.
We came through it ok but there are some things that have lost their screws and caps.
Just thought i should mention it.

The road conditions seem to be deteriorating right thru Europe , even Germany, which I used to look forward to in my old land rover traveling days , as a relief from the HD suspension

They certaily appear to be investing in the roads we have just been on new road surfacing and widening everywhere.

Yes there is but its not keeping up going by the miles of bumps etc
