Can someone please tell me where on earth the Clutch fluid reservoir is located on these vehicles. It just doesn't seem to exist in the engine compartment of my Boxer-based Moho - 2010 model 2,2 engine.

I think you will find the Brake Reservoir also serves as The Clutch reservoir, they are a combined dual system.
Problem is that the clutch Slave Cylinder is inside the gearbox, and from what I have read on here needs gearbox removal to replace.
Extra attention needs to be carried out during a brake fluid exchange to ensure that the clutch slave cylinder also empties out to be replenished with new fluid, otherwise the original clutch fluid stays in the slave cylinder and gets very sludgy over time.

Thank you all for the info. It isn't obvious, is it?

I suspect this happened to me. My van's fluid changes had been neglected before I owned it, but I did get it done shortly before I did a trip to Europe. I was doing some mountain passes in the Alps and working it pretty hard. I think I started to get boil-off in the clutch. The clutch became spongey and wasn't returning properly. I pulled over at a campsite and waited for recovery. By the time I got it to a garage a couple of days later, it was fine. I suspect the moisture had dissolved back into the fluid? And remained fine for the rest of the trip and the next couple of years I owned the van.

Apparently there is a bleed nipple that you can get to near the master cylinder and it can be vacuum flushed to a degree, but it's a pain to get to.
