Border crossing times.

I once took a coachload of kids across into Slovenia for a concert. Have to say it wasn't a mainstream crossing, only had one border guard but he insisted on stamping every passport - all 53 of them!

But the fun thing was we returned, through the same crossing and the same guard, three hours later. And of course he wanted to stamp all the passports again (Croatia guy wasn't bothered).

I did ask if he had ever seen a UK registerd coach before (his English was very good). He said yes - you, three hours ago.....................!!! :roflmto:

Interesting. May be doing the Italy to Slovenia crossing next month.

When we did that crossing it was difficult to tell exactly where the border was because it's all within 'Schengen'

When we've done it we've used the a roads from Trieste not the motorway (because we couldn't be bothered to buy the Slovenia tag) and passed it almost without knowing, only stopped at Croatian border.
