Boards in bedroom areas...

We have recently purchased a Hymer B MC T 680 with twin single beds over the garage, there are some boards supplied, two go along side the mattress to protect the window blinds but a third hinged board is provided and I’m struggling to work where this is intended to be used. Hoping someone can enlighten me !

Is one a foot board and the other goes between the beds to make a double?
Anything in instruction book?
Have you asked dealer?

The handover guy at the dealer did not know and at the time there was nobody else to ask...

The long and short piece are hinged together, very lightweight, so not to join the beds but not obviously a foot board either...
