Your phone connects to it by Bluetooth and sends Internet radio or MP3s to it, and then it transmits the signal on FM so your van radio can tune into it. Works very well, no signal drop outs like DAB, and will work in mainland europe. Downside is it uses about 1MB of your phone allowance per minute. That sounds a lot but it's only 1.4Gb per 24/hr.
Also it's a phone kit rang Ann on it and she said it was crystal clear. Price was Ā£10.19 but it's up and down a lot on amazon.
