After some time (approximately 2 years) I finally set my mind to do a grand clean up in my van bathroom.

Just as I was about to get ready to start, Alan and Bob arrive with the 4x4 and trailer to return my ride-on mower from where it had ben stored whilst I was away.

Now I am having a sit down trying to decide whether to clean or cut the grass...

Probably will end up doing neither.

Oh well...

Firstly your mower probably has a flat battery. If that is Ok then you will probably have forgotten to turn the petrol off last autumn and it has now seeped into the sump and flooded it. Failing that the mice will have got at one of the drive belts.

You really should look on the bright side of things. :D

Excuse me The Briars...

My mower is practically brand new and on Monday I will contact the supplier to collect it and give it its (50 hour) first service (free).

Battery fine... It started first time... (no on/off petrol tap fitted)

Drive belts all seem fine.

Too warm here for the mice to move out of their homes and enter ours... (I think).

But thanks for your concern!

Now... back to cleaning bathroom... (y)

With your super, duper, almost brand new, bright and shining ride on mower surely you can sit down and cut the grass.

And women claim that men can’t Multi-task.;)

WHAT?

Steady on there Mr Maison...

Just because one is sitting down when driving the mower, it doesn't mean one is resting.

100% concentration needed you know.

(I just cut down a small oak tree sapling by allowing my mind to wander.) :(
