Found water in the toilet area🤬.
Traced it back to where they have screwed the roof bars on using a 2" screw.
Ordered sealant but need to get my hands on some step ladders.
Any of you funsters close to St Austell that I could borrow a set or nip over and use them.😇

That amount of sealant certainly looks like an "oh bugger, shouldn't have done that" repair.

Sorry, only just seen this, hopefully you should have sun now, we have wall to wall blue sky in Penzance, and it looks like other Funsters have come to your aid. However, if you need any additional help let me know and I will head up that way.

Cheers

It's only a quick fix until I get home.
Then sika it is 👍
Make sure you clean every trace of the silicon off before you seal it with the proper stuff. Better still don't use it in the first place. Any builders merchant will have something like CT-1 that you can use temporarily. Look at the label, if it says it's paintable it will be ok as a short term fix.

Well thank you to everyone with your kind offers of ladders and help.
The maintenance team here on site have borrowed me some ladders as long as I sign a disclaimer 🤣.
If you all see a thread in about an hours time asking for help to get the van home from Just Kate then it's all gone wrong and you're all invited to the wake 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not seen any other post, so I presume everything went as planned and you didn’t end up on the floor😊 and your sorted for now.
