Few years now
First trip out of the year parked up next to the Thames at Benson. Tried putting the step out and nothing, jammed solid. Further investigation & I found the frame of the step bent and one of the rear brackets was so distorted it has snapped part of the aluminium step frame. I suspect that someone has tried jacking it on the step. It could be the tyre fitter, service station or MOT station. Not sure if its repairable at the moment. Will have to wait until i get home next week to se if i can do anything with it. Not happy.

Drives me mad that sort of stuff. People always somehow seem to break and fuzf up stuff.

Home today so set about seeing if I could do anything with the step. When I took it off it, the frame wasnt too distorted. Managed to loosen all the frame screws and pushed it straight. tThe cables suffered a bit of damage as did one of the motors. Ripped the internals out and is now a manual pull out step.
