We have Dometic Seitz S7 windows with roller blinds and insect nets which need replacing.

From the blown-up parts list it seems that with dismantling of the cassette these could be replaced as individual items.

Has anyone had this done, or done it as a DIY operation.

The MH is nearly 20 years old. Would it be better and easier, even if a bit more expensive, to replace the whole cassette to avoid further failure of parts.

Any comments and advice welcome.

No sure it’s relevant as I have the S4 windows, but for mine the blinds are no longer available from the manufacturer
so brought some concertina blinds and cut them down to size to fit, it’s a bit fiddly but perfectly doable,

Thanks for that information although if it applies to the S7 also it is not good news.

Several spares suppliers are still advertising parts for these windows. I think I have to call Leisure Spares as they are usually good for these Dometic parts.

I can understand that a concertina blind would do the blind job but not the insect job which is our biggest problem.

Thanks anyway.
