Bike carriers ?

Hi we have 2 electric bikes and was looking to see if its worth getting a cycle carrier for the back of our MH. I like the look of the ones that drop down do any of you have one ? if so would you recommend it ? The issue is the combined weight is 53kg !! I know its a good idea to take the batteries out while in transit that will reduce the weight a little. So the thought of lifting them once on the rack . The other thing is do any of you know what weight the two upper hanging brackets will hold ? Do cycle racks damage the skin of the MH ? Look forward to your replies. TIA

I answered a similar post recently, I will try and find it.

Yes, we had a wind down rear bike carrier. But it was heavy and I had to reinforce the rear back wall.

We’ve got the Thule wind down one. Works great. We carry 2 e bikes on it.
Always remove the batteries and the saddles.
