Big river (1 Viewer)

Hello a few years ago we was going to stay on a site in Belgium which was on bank of river with the big barges going up and down.
It was closed for the year when we got there but we have time this year but I can't find it or even remember the river
Any help much appreciated thank you

were you near Dinant, but sounds more like the Rhine perhaps?

used to go to belgium regularly and eat on a boat restaurant and watch the big barges go by, trying to remember quite whereabouts in belgium that was, towards the north east probably as i stayed with an ex in leopoldsburg and went from there, not too far..

do you have the ‘search for sites’ app, you could try following the rivers on the map checking the sites till it looks familiar

If you are anything like me, it will end up being just over the border in another country

It sounds similar to Montherme, that is on the River Meuse, but just inside France before it flows into Belgium at Namur (just west of Luxembourg.) and eventually to Rotterdam.
