You may get a very small number of those who have a slight preference to the bottle around the quay. It's actually much nicer up the road a bit at Appledore where you park up in the car park for a fiver and you can also feast on the best fish n chips in Devon at sylvesters (no connection) ?

Second that!

Hi, stayed in Bideford last boxing day for a couple of nights, very quiet, then made our way down to Exmouth for new years eve. This year will be spending the newyear at Bideford

We have stayed several times at both Bideford and Appledore. They both offer overnight parking for £5, and both towns have something to offer. Appledore is obviously very attractive and has a lot to offer the travellers, but at the same time Bideford is great to walk around the town. The parking in Appledore is more open than Bideford and perhaps suits some people a little more.
