I should have said in my youth I rode P200E's and many other variants of Mod type scooter, strangely never a Lambretta that i can recall.
The wheel size probably won't bother you then.

In my time you were either a Lammy mod or a Vespa mod. Didn't mix! I had a lammy.I should have said in my youth I rode P200E's and many other variants of Mod type scooter, strangely never a Lambretta that i can recall.

I would like a Vespa 300 GTS, but it weighs in at 160 kgs, don't know how that works with my MH and a potential trailer
looks so uncool that young kiddies won't nick it.
This is an earlier post, however, The Honda Mode looks the same, has the same 125 engine but weighs in at 110kg.Honda SH 125i slightly over at 136kg but quite superb, you might not use its power but it's always safer to have in reserve.

The OP could probably whittled down the list of suitable scooters if he knew the maximum weight he could carry (perhaps he does).
The rack itself will probably weigh 40+Kg.

We chose the Address over the Vision for two reasons. First it was cheaper and second it has a kick start in case the battery is flat. Very happy with it so far. We've got the 110cc Honda vision. It's good but I hate the fact it hasn't got a kick start, it's not as if you can bump them. The day will come when the starter or battery fails and we'll be stuck. I'm seriously considering the Suzuki Address, it's a bit lighter and a bit more powerful too.

Is it radioactiveView attachment 250538 View attachment 250539 Peugeot Kisbee 103 cc, dry weight 93kg, 125mpg good for 55 two up fast enough for an old fart likike me. It has the smaller wheels so not as stable as those previously discussed.
If there is a slight lip to bottom of motorhome door then the fact front wheel goes through hole and drops means you can fit a bike taller than the door. Also as bike goes up a ramp on entry back wheel is lower than front, effectively lowering handlebars as they go through the doorway. So it is possible to fit a bike that measured bigger through a smaller doorway!

Thanks but there must be some calculation to be made surelyIts more down to what the chassis of the vehicle is engineered to , you cant just stick a bit of 150mm x8mm box across the back and bolt carrier to it .
