The van we are getting on Friday, a 2008 Bessacarr E769, has an electric step. This step has a switch to send it in and out, but it also retracts automatically when the engine is started.
The van has central locking so when the fob is pressed the doors, including the habitation door, is locked or unlocked.
I'd like to use this to bring the setp out when unlocking and to retract it when locking.
Before I spend hours tracing wiring etc, does anyone have a wiring diagram for this van?
I'm a capable and competent sparky, so the work is easy, but I'm more industrial and auto electrics is a dark art at the best of times. A drawing would make this mod a lot easier
