Anyone ever come across a bespoke size awning floor provider? We want a 4m by 1.5m roll up strip so we can walk to the garage without having to don shoes, on the ever increasing number of campsite pitches with sharp gravel surfaces.

Currently we are looking to cut up an old floor and seal the edges, but that would look messy because I am a DIY oaf.

Why 1.5m? most awnings are 2.5m deep.
We have a Fiamma awning mat 4.5 x 2.5 (other sizes available) which is the same size as our awning

Yep, our Thule G3 residence is 2.5m deep and our new Dometic will be 2.5 as well. No this is when we have no awning nor Omnistor wound out.

You must have been there. It's a lovely morning and you want to get the folding table out for an open air brekkie, and its in the garage. The club site you are on has helpfully piled tons of sharp type 2 aggregate onto the pitch so you try to pick your way to the garage in bare feet (we are big bare feeters in our bus). A strip of floor would be idea to roll out. Actually doubt it would need to be more than 1m deep.

I use that rubbery holey stuff, that looks like the non slip tray mats, only loads bigger
and it washes down lovely if it gets muddy

+1. We've got a runner of it around 3 or 4m long and 1m wide we unroll and use to access the garage and cadac if we plug it into the external bbq gas point. It's avaliable "draught" in a range of widths and colours in giant rolls in most Chinese bazaars over here and is also really light.

Why not just use the 2.5m one rather than carry two that's what we do on Aires.
