I can't get the heating to work (Truma) gives me an error E122H which I thing is something to do with the gas valve?

It does this even if I switch to Mix 1/2 or elec 1/2 (MH is on EHU at home)

The clean water supply is ok, taps working g etc
The 3 red taps under the bed are turned on (I think)
Do I need the water pump on? Gives the error pump on or off.
Gas bottle is turned on and Hob works.
I can't see any switches or taps on the boiler itself.

The way in which the MH was purchased was in such a way that I didn't get a traditional "Hand over" so am absolutely clueless as to how most things operate

Have you selected gas on the panel, it shows a gas bottle on mine. Do you have the manual for
the Truma which explains the error codes.?

Looks like a gas bottle but says FUEL on the control panel. The manual doesn't explain the codes I googled it.

As I say, gives the error whether it is set to Fuel/Mix or Elec.

PS Error code E122 (I think the H simply means it's referring to the heater) =
a] combustion air infeed or exhaust outlet is sealed - Inspect openings for obstructions (slush, ice, leaves etc) and remove any obstructions
b] gas pressure regulation system faulty - Inspect/ replace gas pressure regulation system
c] electronic system faulty - Please contact Truma Service

After making sure the gas is on, do a reset on the controller. If that doesn't work it could be a faulty regulator, the heater needs a much higher gas flow than the hob, a faulty regulator will often pass enough gas for the hob but not for the heating.

Another thing is it a new or s/h van as our last van the heating used to regularly fall over with different error codes, it was fine after upgrading the controller software that was a 2014 van.

This problem has been highlighted on another forum as being the cause of error code E122H, once the
regulator had been sorted it worked o k.

That was what I thought but seemed to obvious, if it is the exhaust has a flat plastic cover on that you have to lever off.

Tried re-setting the control panel, same result. There is no cover to remove from the Flue. Would a faulty gas regulator stop the heater from working on electric?

Just spoke to Truma, they say take it to a dealer. I have a Marquis near me and apparently they are a Truma dealer.

If there anyone in or near Sheffield who could pop round and have a look just in case it's something obvious to those in the know but a bit of a mystery to someone who doesn't know?

On one of our van the heater gave off error codes and all appeared to be "on" but closer inspection showed that the gas was off, the plastic on/off buckle was worn and didn't actually open the gas valve. The electric could be a fuse problem?????

Truma are virtually only just down the road from you at Hatton on the a50 , have heard of people going down there and getting things looked at.

Its a 2016 Chausson. Just replaced the 10a Fuse for the boiler just in case and that hasn't changed anything.

What would I need to buy to replace the regulator? Or I was thinking of a Gas-it refillable system, would that come with a new regulator?

Truma pointed me towards Marquis & the original supplier of the van was 3 A's in Camarthen, that's quite a ways.

That cylinder looks a bit old, how full is it? If it is low then it may not be enough pressure for the boiler, can you try a different cylinder? The regulator is the silver thing the pigtail goes to from the bottle but if its only a yer old then it should be OK, would try a different bottle if you can. Do you know anyone you could borrow a bottle off or if its empty get a new one.

But if Gas was the problem wouldn't the heating function on Electric as it is hooked up to the house?

The 10a Fuse I changed was the one near the battery charger, not the one on the boiler itself, perhaps I should look at that.

I would have thought so. Have you ever had it working on either gas or electric? If not then I think you should be seeing the supplying dealer if it is still under warranty.

Is the window above the flue open...mine wont run on gas until the window is shut and electrosensor operates?
