Hi
I’m adding a battery. Present one is fixed with gizmos like the attached. Any idea where to get them or better options??

personally I prefer a nice piece of wood, cut to the size and shape, supporting the full width etc and sanded lovely and smooth, with rounded off corners. Then screwed down well with at least 3 screws

The batteries in our van are fastened down with nylon straps with tension locks. I bought bolt down eyelets for the ends. The tension locks have a nylon backing so nothing metal touches the batteries. A bit over the top but I know the batteries are well fastened down.

weld it in  no movement then(y)

joking aside, the pictured method looks...………...erm………………...pants.

We use the proprietary battery boxes for our 3 batteries in a way brilliant except two of them were fitted by the previous owner who SCREWED them to the floor
So when one of the batteries blew a gasket the battery box didn't protect the woodwork - the new ones do now and the batteries don't move either
