2015 for a year then a break. Now a newbie again!
I wish to charge my single e-bike battery while not hooked up.
We have a 100w solar panel and MPPT controller and we’ll move on at least every other day for engine charge.
We have 200 Ah available (2 x 100 Ah)

So, could someone please confirm (or otherwise) that I’ve got the following somewhere near?

Leisure battery capacity required:
630Wh e-bike battery divided by 12 volts plus 15% loss equals about 60 Ah battery needed.
This is max requirement. I'll rarely, if ever, need the full 630wh charge.

Inverter output required:
4.5 A x 42 volt plus 15% loss equals about 217 w.
I was thinking of a 500VA (about 350 / 400 w) Victron or equivalent.
Sited close to batteries using 6mm cable?
We’ll not require an inverter to run large-draw appliances. That will be done via hook-up.

Please be gentle.

Looks pretty good to me except,

You say you have 200ah available from 2x100ah batteries, if these are lead acid you only have 100ah really, Lithium OK.

Your inverter cabling will need to be bigger than 6mm assuming you mean area rather than diameter, good calculator tool below.
