Four days ago our batteries showed 100%AH, overnight they crashed to 13%. Over the next 3days the AH slowly climbed to 51%, then yesterday it crashed to 7%?!
The Sargent Unit keeps tripping out and sometimes its difficult to reset. We've got 200 watts of SP, 80 via the SU and 120 via a Fangpusun PR3030.
I separated the L Batteries this morning, voltage on one was 13.6, the other 12.6.
We've found that if we keep several lites on the S Unit doesn't trip out, neither does it trip during the night???!
We're in Sanluca de Barrameda on Southern Coast of Spain,,, 8 hours of blazing sunshine every day so Plennee'A Solar Power...
Could we be overcharging the batteries???
Any comments much appreciated.

I would suspect you have one duff battery?. After separation I would expect to see them within far less than 1 Volt of each other?. What you could have is the one battery pulling down the other. Take the lower (voltage) battery out of use and see if that improved the issue?.

I am in agreement about the battery being duff. I recently had one which showed fully charged but died as soon as any load on it, then showed fully charged again as soon as load was removed.

Many thanks for your help.
I'll disconnect the lower volt battery and see what happens.

Were they all replaced/ fitted at the same time? Borr :)

First time I've bin called Borr on ear Borr! ?
In reply to your question, we doubled up the battery capacity 3 years ago. The existing one was checked/tested and deemed 100%.
It is the lower voltage of the two (both 110ah).
I had both batteries checked with a discharge thingameejig before we left the UK on Christmas Eve,,, they passed with flying colours,,, allegedly.
We're booked on the Chunnel 11th March so can probably get by, but I guess buying 2 new batteries in Spain wont be a whole hill of beans different to the UK.
Your interest is much appreciated Borr.

Been there, I had a bank of 6 FLA, on the last motorhome (R-V) I lost one CELL on one battery. it drew the whole bank down, Just the one cell. Isolated the duff one and went back to full charge, with obviously reduced capacity.

you will get a shock if you have to get a battery in spain, we did,£250 110ah
