Hi I have recently had a new EGR fitted since fitted there is a problem when changing down from 4th to 3rd 2nd gears engine stutters when going around corners and rounderbouts soon as I rev up no problem and runs normal garage cannot trace fault ( no engine warning indicator) has new fuel filter carbon and diesel clean starting to crack me up anybody got a idea

i read somewhere that there are some people who have their EGR valve blanked off and 'removed' from the engine management system software on some cars .....

With the early x250 Ducatos, it was often the throttle body that went faulty. Water would get into the actuator. The throttle body was also the input for the EGR. When you turn off the key, after a few seconds you should hear a sharp snap as the throttle body closes.
