Arrived at Oban on Ferry from Barra to be told our ferry to Mull has broken down, worse still there kids everywhere, didn’t realise it’s half term, can’t even have a walk along the harbour it so busy. Good news is that diesel is a reasonable £138.9 at Tesco’s a little cheaper than £155.0 on Barra 🥴

That's a good price my fuel card price for the truck is £1.394 this week Inc vat.
That's 25p/litre(ex vat) up from the low point around 9 months ago, at around 750 litres a week that' s around £190 a week, that's any rate increase from the current situation down the drain.

Diesel on Skiathos was €1.98 a litre, that's nearly £1.70 a litre, good job we only used 10 litres all week

Have you not got a fuel escalator in your contract, they all seem to have it who pick up from the dock

Did you enjoy Barra,? My favourite place on the Western Isles, hope The Vatersay Boyswill be back in action soon.

At £138.9 a litre everyone should worry
At
£1.389 Per Litre that's okay.

A slip of the finger by Otter Spotter we thinks:unsure:

Absolutely loved the isle, people really friendly, had a great curry in the best curry house in the UK Cafe Kisimul, and Dee bought some really nice wool so that will keep her quiet ( sorry happy 😙) for weeks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 We stayed at the Castlebay Hotel for one night, partly for a really good shower and partly hoping they were going to show up but no 😭
I can recommend Borve camp site, not Wavecrest, great facilities and right on the coastline so I slept like a baby with no Tinnitus issues as the waves sent me to sleep.

We also stayed at Borve campsite. It is a good amenity site, especially for campers. Did you see the dolphins? they used to come play every day.

Contract?
Been in business 35 years, never had a contract but will be renegotiating again if the price does not drop soon.

No, no Dolphins, sea was too rough to sea them.

Think you’re going to be renegotiating then

I’m talking general day to day usage, not powering a third world country,,,
As far as I am concerned, as far as motorhoming is concerned, it costs whatever it costs unfortunately. I try to refill when it gets to half to avoid the £100+ fills (extra large fuel tank on the MH)

*cue all the RV owners piling in like the Monty Python secret policemens ball 4 Yorkshiremen………….
