Could anyone help i am looking for a bonnet release cable but can't seem to find one.

It would be your base vehicle bonnet release cable I would think.

yes tried hymer dealers and internet but to no avail think i will make one up with bike brake cable and do away with the internal handle

Make one up with new bowden cable and nipples to include your bonnet release lever.
You could use either solder or solderless nipples.
