Ian(thebuilder) kindly sold me his generator at a very reasonable price and my wife (Hilary) has translated the Spanish manual for me.
If anyone else had one of these generators I would happily send them an electronic version.

How about posting it up in 'Resources', then it is handy for all for ever :-)

Just checking the translation before posting and one section confuses me. When referring to using the generator's 12 volt supply for battery charging (which I have read no-one would actually do) it states that the positive pole of the charger cable must be connected to the negative pole of the battery.
I cannot understand this guidance as I thought positive always went to positive. Is it different for direct current?

1. First connect the charger cable to the generator's DC power socket and then connect it to the battery junction.

Charger cable
(It can be sold separately.)

Warning

To prevent sparks around the battery, first connect the charger cable to the generator and then to the battery. Disassembly should start from the battery.

Before connecting the charger cable to the battery installed in the car, first disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Do not connect the battery ground cable until you have removed the charger cable. This operation will help you prevent short circuits or sparks when you carefully connect the side of the battery junction with the car structure.

Watch out

Do not attempt to start the engine when the generator is still connected to the batteries or the generator will be damaged.

The positive pole of the charger cable must be connected to the negative pole of the battery. Do not confuse the polarity of the charger cable or it will cause damage to the generator and the battery

I agree. That last Paragraph Definitely sounds wrong!.
