Avtex repairs???? (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
We have a fantastic 19inch Avtex TV with all the gizmos and what a cracking TV it has been..... Until recently!
If we play a DVD all’s fine until about 3/4 the way through and then it freezes, just the frozen picture and nowt we can do - eventually we can eject the DVD. This happens with all our DVDs.

Anyone know where I could get it looked at/repaired?????

People seem to have had good experiences (on the whole) by contacting Avtex directly for repairs (both inside and outside the warranty period). So that's probably worth a try to begin with.

Definitely send it back to Avtex. My brother in law has done this on several occasions and has always been pleased with the service.
He always sent it to Cardiff so not far from you.

I had a problem with the DVD sticking on my Avtex TV, Avtex collected the set and delivered it again within 2 days.

I have just had a problem with my Avtex (still in warranty) they collected it on the Thursday and it was back with me at 11.30 on the Monday morning
