Im a newbe
Hi all and just wondered if anybody could tell me if i am doing something wrong ! I bought this model of television as i thought it was a one button auto scanning television as the wife and i are not very good with these gadgets and struggle to tune it in when we arrive on different sites around the country ! Many thanks.

I can confirm that you are doing something wrong, you just press the big button in the middle of the remote. You need to make sure that you have a decent signal though first.

What aerial do you have or are you plugging in to site?

If MH aerial are you adjusting it when you arrive?

If site, how does it connect to the MH or TV?

Try going into tuning settings & activating the signal booster, then try tuning in again.

What sort of antenna are you using, the old flying saucer type are really poor, we have direct line of sight to our transmitter & it still wont find signals, I've just bought a Vision Plus 530 cos I want DAB radio as well as TV.
If your using a Status 530 or 570 type antenna, remember that it needs to be pointed at the transmitter as well as correctly set for horizontal or vertical.

Getting a little over complicated here . I think the OP is just asking how to use the Avtex auto tune and is looking for the AQT function to tune the tv in the future when travelling around

The new Vision Plus boosters have a light system to tell you when your pointing correctly at the transmitter, they are not expensive at around £25 to £30 & save a lot of hassle.

Try antenna finder app. Or go outside and look at other peoples in houses.

As already mentioned, take a look at the aerials around you, position yours as the surrounding ones are and a long press on the AQT button should have it tuned in a few minutes.

Assume you move the aerial every time to find the green light? (Or as best as possible)

And you are aware some areas require flat position and others require tilted to one side?

And your aerial cable from the tv is plugged in the correct socket on the MH, mine has 2, one is connected to the onboard aerial and the other runs to the an external connection point?
