l am fitting a Avtec Soundbar to my Avtec Pro TV I’ve followed the instructions and everything appears to be connected correctly the Soundbar has powered up but I cannot get any sound out of it.
There is mention of Bluetooth but I cannot find anything in the TV settings that refers to Bluetooth.
I’m hoping someone has had a similar dilemma and can advise how best to proceed from here.
Thanks.

You need to connect either by the cable or Bluetooth. Bluetooth is not recommended due to the delay in the signal and soundbar processing the signal, may be just milliseconds but causes a delay between the sound and the syncronisation of the lips moving on screen. My be just a millisecond but really off putting when watching the screen. best connected by the 3.5mm jack plug cable.

I'm assuming you connected it already. If there's a 'mention" of bluetooth I'd imagine that's the connection it's set to. The middle button between the plus and minus volume buttons is what you press briefly to change source.
Ideal connection to your tv is by HDMI

I had exactly the same problem. Could not get bluetooth to work nor the hdmi. Ended up using the jack plug cable as suggested.

Exactly, that’s what I did but it’s a bit strange to bypass the HDMI option, additionally most modern TV’s have the Optic option for a sound bar so Avtec appear to be not keeping up with the technology that’s now commonplace.
Strangely it didn’t work through the jack plug for the earphone there is another next to it and it wasn’t clear exactly what it was for and I was afraid of blowing an internal fuse or something, anyway, thanks to all for your input it’s working and the sound is greatly improved.

You need a tv wich is hdmi arc compatible
And as far as I know Bluetooth is for playing music files from a Bluetooth device

Both Avtec both HDMI and ARC compatible and both new to me, on my last MH I played a Soundbox via Bluetooth without any problem

We have a Falcon Tv and a bluetooth soundbar came with it. It's pretty good and allows us to have the speaker next to us to save having to have the TV blaring.
