Happy New Year to everyone. Not sure if this is the right category but here goes, has anyone used Avon Autogas I am thinking of getting them to fit a gasit refillable system to my MH just wondering if anyone had used them. Thanks

I ordered 2 bottles over the phone for self fit.

They billed my card twice under two similar names. Claimed to know nothing about it when I rang them. I never had to get in-touch with my credit card though. I was soon credited for the second bill.

There are numerous people who will fit Gassit, Alugas or Gaslow or you could fit them yourself and get them checked out later with a 'gas sniffer' to make sure all of the fittings are secure.

They provided me with good service. Technician came to our house and installed a single 11kg refillable gas-it bottle in our pvc. Made a neat job, especially the external filler point. Very reasonable charge too. If I recall the cost was circa £300 incl a full set of continental adapters.

I fitted my Gaslow refillable system with body-mounted filler connection in an hour including stopping for a brew. I used the proper sealant and the leak detector. No more difficult than changing Calor bottles.

The Gasit plus 4 hole cylinders are available but are a lot more expensive than the older 2 hole cylinders which aren’t as safe or good .
Gaslow cylinders as follows
Now available in 2.7kg, 6kg and 11kg size
- 80% Overfill Protection
- Over Pressure Relief Valve
- Filter prevents inpurities in the gas entering the system
- Excess Flow Valve restricts gas if hose ruptures
- New improved mechanical contents gauge
- 10 year warranty
- Tested and approved to the R67 tank standard

The R67 cylinders are compatible with the entire range of Gaslow Refillable components.

I'd of said gaslow bottles can be bought for similar price but some gasit parts ( hoses can be bought cheaper) are cheaper
