Avoid Montreuil sur Mer Aire this month

The funfair arrives from Sunday 14th November as part of the Beaujolais Nouveau 2021 celebrations. It's due to leave around the end of the month.

Historically, the caravans have taken over the aire and the adjacent car park. Also the main square (Place du General De Gaulle) is closed to all traffic as this is where the actual funfair is set up.

The weekly market takes place in the smaller square near the church (Place Gambetta) at this time.

You might wish to avoid it for the next few weeks.

Yep. The signs were up last week in the square and on the site saying no parking from 14th Nov but it didn’t say for how long as far as I could see
