Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
Newbie zulurita came on board with a clever little snail avatar. I blinked and it has disappeared. She's not using it any more and I want it. Can anyone please help and tell me how to get one of these moving creatures.
:Smile:::bigsmile::roflmto::winky::ROFLMAO: etc.

Google 'gif avatars' or 'moving avatars' - loads of free sites :thumb: search for your theme, copy your choice(s) to your computer and use from there - just have to find the right dimensions (check Jim's Help Videos for the correct sizes)

Have fun! :winky:

I've found my snail - just trying to transfer it but doesn't seem to work on the iPad so now switching on the computer. Liking the challenge!::bigsmile:

Hi Snailtrailer

Mine is a DIY moving gif. Creating a moving gif from a serie of pictures isnt hard. A lot of information how to create one on the net.

The biggest challenge is to stay within the size limits which you can find on Jim's help video

I had to downsize and downgrade (quality) the pictures a lot before it was within Jim's specifications

regards
Paul

I guess that's why they tend to be cartoons? Less detail, fewer colours resulting in smaller files perhaps?

Hi Devonbeekeeper

You are right cartoons are much smaller so easier to use within Jim's specifications.
But I wanted to create one using pictures of our little doggie :ROFLMAO:

and it worked :thumb:

The avitar size limits are set by the administrator.. Must admit it took me a couple of goes to make one small enough :thumb:
