Hi Everyone
Has anyone ever removed there body skirts on an AutoTrail Frontier range around 2010. I need to remove mine to do some repairs, but don’t want to damage the skirts in the process. Is there a trick to getting them off.

Cheers PaulandChrissy. 👍

Hi Everyone.
I think I have just figured it out. To remove them involves BREAKING the joins between the panels as they seem to be Welted together. Then they are bonded to the wall of the van with Sikaflex. There’s no way these are coming off without serious damage. I think the repairs will have to be done with the skirts in place. A pain, but less destructive.

Motorhome is in storage so this from memory.
At least some parts of the skirt panels on our 2013 Frontier are screwed and \ or pop riveted on however they also appear to be "spot welded" together.
When I was repairing some bump damage on the rear skirt I had to lever \ use a saw blade to release.

It’s definitely not designed to come apart, so I’m going to do the repairs with them in place. Replacing a section of floor.

All cut out ready to rebuild. AutoTrail really do have some design errors. I cured the water leaks some years back, but this is the result of the trapped moisture. Looks very scary, but the trick is not to panic and plod on methodically.
