Is there a way to turn off the auto lock feature on the Fiat ducato cab doors please?I always have to operate the internal handle on both the drivers and passenger sides to allow access from the outside.Thank you.

It's an option accessed through the radio menus on mine.

Mine has an unlock switch near the mirror/window control switches.

For a definitive answer will need to know the year of your van, but it is a menu item either on the speedo cluster digital panel or on later ones via the multimedia radio.

It’s a 2017nmodel.I have looked through the menu but nothing refers to door locking, only bleep on and a couple of others. Is there another menu somwhere which I haven’t found?

Do you not have a menu like the one illustrated ?
The autoclose function is the one you need.

As eurajohn has said, look in the mode menu and you will find the Autoclose on / off setting along with clock set, date set , service , passenger airbag ,etc etc.

If the later version slightly different access but still the Autoclose function.

A great facility, until I go to the kiosk to pay for the fuel and Jan is suddenly locked in the vehicle!

Still can’t get into advanced menu settings.Long press on mode just exits the menu.

Have you tried with the ignition Off , as needed for some menus ? or if your van has a touch screen audio system some extra menus may be in it.

I need the ignition on or the display doesn’t light up.I consider myself quite good with tech but I can’t for the life of me find any other menu items apart from bleep, service, passenger airbag, then exit menu.Access to the clock settings are through the alpine head unit which is a right pain in the bum itself.Even if I press the button on the dashboard to unlock the central locking you still can’t open the doors if you are outside.Time for a lie down I think.
