1200 x 40x40x3 mm ally angle (already bolted to panelsHow are you fixing the panels to your roof.? Brackets?
Did not know it was needed, just a good clean and degrease etc'Have you got some activator for the Sika adhesive ?
Yes 10m2, 30 amp fuse and 700mm longI hope the cable from controller to battery is at least 10mm2 and kept short, with 30A fuse. The controller shows needs updating, and the switch from solar is man enough to take DC current.
It did an update as soon as I logged in but it seems to want to do anotherYou have an exclamation mark over the settings icon, top right, which probably wants you to do a firmware update, all my victron devices have needed an update on first installation.
Dont forget, the panels are the last item to be connected. Thanks for all the replys, much appreciated.
All connected to the batteries now, panels should go on the roof tomorrow
Cheers

I can't see the brackets, but would drill some holes on the mating face so that the Sikaflex oozes through a bit and 3mm tiles spacers in the bed to maintain a good thickness. Ive never used an activator.1200 x 40x40x3 mm ally angle (already bolted to panels

Good practice for sure but I believe that with the Victron stuff once it has been attached to the battery it stays set at that voltage unless you go into setting and actually force a change.D

Battery to controller first so the controller know the battery voltage.
It basically needs to know the voltage 12v, 24v etc
geat jobThanks for all the replys, much appreciated.
