What are these screw caps with stalks on that push into a hole in the screw called and where can you get them? Posi screw caps are no good.
Thanks in anticipation.

Wissel thanks they may be ok have to go look next time I'm passing by. The stalks look a bit thick though.

Try a search on eBay for screw covers 👍 All sorts of covers including self adhesive ones

Thanks Terry , already spent an hour searching Ebay for these specific ones. Might have to accept that I need to buy the screws and caps together if the ones from wickes dont fit.

As above. Cut tang off, drop of any glue, poke on. They can still be removed later if required. Especially if attached with silicone.

Try looking at rivet caps, same thing just for pop rivets. The stalk is a bit longer than screw caps.

I had similar issues finding a suitable cap for our furniture fittings. From what i could gather they were no longer being made but i found a manufactrer that had some stock.
Ill try and find their details.

I can say from experience that the caps wanted make previously made holes from screws 'disappear' from registering in your vision.

In my last van, previous owners had screwed and then removed various items from the van leaving unsightly holes.

Applying the cover caps to those holes made them disappear as if by magic because we all expect to see those caps for whatever reason in our vans and they don't look out of place, whereas a hole made by a screw screams out at you.

Guess what!
Still dont know what they are called but on searching my second box of "I'll keep those they are sure to come in useful someday" there were 12 of the little beauties just waiting for me to find them.
Thanks for the suggestions one and all and no I dont have any spare I needed exactly 12.

Rivit caps look to be the closest to what I was looking for as suggested by a couple of peeps.
Posi screw caps trimmed and a dab of glue would have had to suffice if I'd not found some.
