I have also helped out Croatias finances with a €300 on the spot fine for Vignette violation and am personally responsible for at least 2% of Belgium’s 2020 GDP through various erroneous traffic infringements.

Although I also helped out Croatia through the purchase of a litre of beer in Dubrovnik for €8 !

Actually it was a pint....I wouldn’t have minded if it had been a litre...

Dubrovnik is a tourist honey pot, mostly the cruise ships for exploitation.
I find Croatia very good value for money.
Just wish I could plan to return

I agree...another silver lining.....the cruise ships may be curtailed and the floating Norovirus/petri dish/shopping malls/ and their volunteers will not ruin places like Dubrovnik and Venice and push up the prices for FLT’s. Apologies for any cruise ship enthusiasts on this site...

HaHa...yes not a good lyric in these times...”Stay away, just let me go” would be more appropriate.
