The question is on the Title.

If have just bought two AS Bikes from a fellow Funster.

We have a 600w Inverter and I was wondering if we could charge both batteries at the same time.
It isn't vital that we do so but rather than finding out too late, I was wondering what the experiences of other Funsters was.
For info the model has a 36V battery with a 250W motor.

Thanks in advance

The charger will tell you. What is the charge current or wattage of the charger.

From memory they usually charge about 2A which is 72W which is nothing to the alternator.

Yes there is. An amazon link.

The only reason I don't charge both our AS E Bike batteries at the same time from our inverter, is because I've only got one charger in the MH, as the other is at home, so that we are never without a charger.
Just use a two way mains adapter. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

We also have 2 bikes and 2 chargers, but unless on hook up only ever charge 1 battery up at a time thru the inverter. I suppose if the sun's out there is no reason not too charge both up even on a 600 watt inverter.
