Hi is anyone down there at the minute that knows the situation with the fire? and any recommendations on places to stop please?

Been there a couple of times, handy as close to Spanish border, but we wouldn't want to stay in the area, can't see anything attractive about it.

Go inland a little to Sorede a lovely little village with campsite. Laroque, just up the road has a municipal campsite and is also lovely. Loads to see and do in the area, once away from the madness of Argeles.
