Got to try and get some use out of our shed............ so what we are going to do is go home in a week or so and get the M-home and come back to our bolt hole for the night then..

Drive up to the above site for a couple of three nights....

Then back to bolt hole for a couple of nights then take M-home back to Durham..

It is registered as a CL to one of the big boy`s clubs but they have gone away from them and trying it as there own so any body can stay...

£20 a night this time of year.... :frowny: But looks quite nice for a couple or so nights break..

Any one stayed there??????????

Not been there but it looks good to me.
It's a lovely area that we keep saying we'll go back to.
Going to store that one away in my (very) little memory bank. Could be possibility for a few weeks time. (y)

Richard.

Looks lovely Mo.

We are continually hopeful of getting to Lindisfarne, so if you could do a rekky of this site, we would be very grateful! :giggle:

Are you missing the Dorset sheep :giggle:

We haven’t... We stayed at Waren near Bamburgh late last month at the end of our Scotland trip.. Site was fine but very busy .. we wouldn’t go back (I know this doesn’t help)

Off topic but we just saw a Moho like the one you have just bought on the M56 near Frodsham whole on our way to The Christie.. too far from home to be you but it looked tidy 😁

Definitely not us............. Would take us 3 days to get there...

Bloke on a tandem with his misses with their kiddy on a BMX behind them on a hill coming back from Yorkshire a couple of weeks ago.. Over took us on a hill.... :frowny:

Nick named the "Shed"........... real name from now is the "Slug"...:giggler:

I think it was here we stayed for a night or two a while ago. It was as described, a working farm. We enjoyed watching them going about their daily chores and superb uninterrupted view of the castle, particularly at night when it lit up. Weather wasn’t great at time so can’t comment on walks etc. but did seem a bit far away from Bamburgh itself for us. Have a nice time wherever you go👍

We haven't but lived in the area the past 4 years. A friend has stayed there and no complaints. We used to stay at Annstead Farm between Seahouses and Beadnell, it's an 8 van site and straight across from the beach.

Yes we have in 2008 so a long time ago, the lane is long and narrow leading to the site, I finished getting out and snipping overhanging hedges out.

Great view of the castle once on there, cycled to Seahouses and Bamburgh.

We’ve stayed there a few times, but a few years ago. As others have said, a working farm with a lovely view of the castle & a narrow road in! A walk of about a mile and a half over fields to the castle or beach or village. Ok if you have bikes, but in the middle of fields, so nothing immediately near by. We loved it when we were last there, but that was before my bad knee, & I’m not sure I would stay now I’m not as fit!

As you say, definitely a working farm, first time loved the chickens that would wander up to the van, delightful noises. Second time with dead sheep in wheelbarrow, less entertaining. There is a nice easy walk straight across the fields to the beach

if all we strive for is cheaper and cheaper cost per night dont be surprised when we have no where to go.

you some kind of wannabe politician now then old-mo? looking for the castle?

We stopped here a couple of years ago having been on the Farne Island trip, before the Castle . For one night it was fine the walk to the beach was a bit of a marathon. Huge Car Park at the Castle Free as I recall . Motorhome bays. The Castle is excellent .
Enjoy !

Stayed there a few times.well kept site.A long walk to Bamburge or seahouses. I can recommend Westfield paddock which isn't far from seahouses. 30 min walk.own tap on pitches. Two hard standings. They are on the internet MO.Adults only.10 pitches.
