I am in an Aire in Royan this evening and been told by a Brit motorhomer thst he has had trouble buying Derv yesterday and today because of industrial act. He had to queue for half an hour and was only allowed 20 litres.

Is it just local to here as we are still heading south and will need some in the next few days.

Maybe @Frankie may know.

No problems with DERV, but one garage in Aixe-sur-Vienne had no 95 octane petrol today. Three others I passed seemed to have all options - 95 and 98 octane petrol and DERV

andyman was only giving advice on where he is,,who can give an answer for the whole of France,,BUSBY,,

Was a tad of humour.

Breton often do not consider themselves "French". Just like some people from Certain parts of Basque France consider themselves "euskaldunak" (singular euskaldun)

Parisians, Cockneys, Scousers and the Welsh!

No problem yesterday at Auchan in Dunkerque and didn't spot any issues with fuel stations and we drove through it and Calais either.

Hi! I supposed you meant @yodeli ! LOL Poor @Frankie she always gets mentionned instead of me! I'm the froggy bit of the forum.;)

I was asked this on here on Friday and did mention a strike from Monday (so 2 days ago) to.... ??? The lorries won't deliver fuel, and yes in some parts of France, you have to wait in queue, and might not be allowed to take more than a certain number of litres. I forgot to fill up Max , but still have my car so... just crossing my fingers now that it will end up quickly.

I alway have a bit of trouble anywhere in France, because they often have bloody height barriers on the pumps. :)

We noticed that its gone up a bit in Luxembourg since we went away 6 weeks ago in early August we paid 96c a litre, on the way back it had gone up to €1.00 a litre.

Dohhhh. Thank you @yodeli and sorry @Frankie

Seems like panic buying. First garage we passed going out of Rouen was closed because it had run out. Second one was open and busy with people filling cans. But got the Moho filled there with no problems.
