It is impossible to view one at a dealer either new or used - there just aren't any about at the moment. I am very interested in this model and wondered if any Funster within a radius of (say) 50 miles of Leeds, would allow us to have a look inside it.

Would really appreciate any positive responses.

Thanks Greg

Thanks Woodstock that would help. I'll try and PM you if I can figure out how to do that.

I think I've PM'd you?

We have a 635SE, although we don’t live close to you, we are more than happy to send you photos of it, if this is any help to you👍
We are on our second one, brought one in 2017, and changed it at the 2019 NEC show, after being offered a deal that was just too good to turn down, and are absolutely delighted with it.

Thanks Nigel L. That sounds like a very positive recommendation. Regarding photos, thanks but we just need to see and feel the real thing.

We have a 2018 635SE and love it, the only van I would swop it for is 635 Sport/Auto. We have had our lounge seating changed to the U lounge which has really made the van look and feel more “ coach “ than van.
The 635 with the small shelf/cupboard behind the drivers seat makes a reasonable front lounge/diner area, we have a second tv here, also the advantage of allowing more rearward movement for the drivers seat if like me you don’t want to sit very close to the steering wheel as was the problem with our previous 610SE.
Just a tip, we would not have the new front skylight as it would mean no overcab shelf, we keep two sleeping bags and two pillows there, it then leaves more room for your outside gear under the settees or in the “ boot “ locker.

The build of our vans have been excellent and contrary to a lot of opinions on here use your own judgement if you can find one to look at.

When I checked with our dealer regarding a new “ blue 635 Sport 160 Auto “ I was told I would not get one for over a year, our present van we had to wait six months for so that knocked that on the head.

Echo all what dipsie said👍
The overhead storage above the cab is invaluable, and we also keep our sleeping stuff up there, and so not overly keen on the latest skylight over cab option, as would loose this valuable space. The the front end layout is very very useful, as well as the extra seat movement, you can get both front seats fully turned around, and a further spacious storage cupboard directly behind.

That's great information guys.

There must be a Funster up north who could help me out here??

Try Ruchard at Spinney, they have one due in

Woodstock - have you received my PM's?

Cheshirecat57 - thanks but based on my experience with 'that' company, I'll give them a miss.

it was purely a suggestion as to where you might get to look at one as opposed to buying it from there
I thought that was the mission👍

Thanks Stonemags76. The problem is no dealer has any stock to view.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. As a result I was able to view one locally. The build quality and specification met my expectations. No chance of finding a nearly new one (especially with auto gearbox) but happily I sourced a new one due in June and placed an order yesterday.

We inspected a V-Line 634 Sport at Brownhills in Newark on Thursday. They also have one coming in this month. Speak to Peter Jackson.
We've just ordered one.

Oops, sorry just seen you've seen one and ordered one. If you're a FB user the Auto-Trail V-Line owners group is a very useful source of information and advice.

Thanks Dudess but FB👎👎👎
