Hi , interested in a van conversion that these guys have for sale, but insure about dealing with a broker.
Who do you deal with.
Who do you pay the money to.
When you view the vehicle is it at the sellers house.
Can you make a offer
As you can imagine its a scary thought handing over forty plus thousand pound to somebody you dont know.

Regards Neil

We viewed a motorhome that was being sold through Motorhome Depot, when we were looking a few years ago. We viewed the motorhome at the sellers house (they were actually on holiday at the time), we did ask about putting in an offer, which would have been possible but in the end we decided that the motorhome was not for us and we didn't proceed with the purchase, so I can't tell you much more than that.

recently sold through m/depot, they were fine, they do check everything is in order, so what they advertise, has been checked thoroughly, they conduct the viewings wherever the Moho is, you can make an offer through them as they will put it to the owners, but they can't agree an offer without the owners permission, the buyer can also purchase a warranty though them
I had no problems.

Bought and sold through them, both transactions went very smoothly and l would happily deal with them again

I have just purchased my van through MH depot. I'm on the south coast of England and the van was on the north coast of NI. It was all paid before I went on the strict understanding and confirmed in writing, that if not 100% I could walk and have all of the money back.

My van was only a year old with 800 miles on it, so literally brand new. MH depot were very helpful. Every check/VIN no./build no. was supplied and they arranged a months free insurance. I was collected from the airport and I was happy with the van. As it was a Saturday the money transfer to the seller was slow, so the rep took me to lunch which I thought was a nice touch.

There are some terrible reviews but all appear to relate to older vans with issues and the buyers blaming MH depot who are very clear that the deal is between you and the vendor, not them. I would certainly use them again.

I honestly don't think my rep could have been anymore helpful.

I had a very good experience buying some years back and the MD agent that l dealt with was first class throughout the negotiations, fast forward a few years and a MH came up with MD that interested me and that l tried to buy, however, the agent on this occasion was an absolute @******* with zero personality or negotiating skill and was simply impossible to deal with.
It boils down to the person/agent of MD,the system of buying/selling through them is a throw of the dice.

Bought mine via MH depot and can’t fault the system or process. All went well.
