We’ve just changed van, new one doesn’t have smoke or CO2 alarms in. I’d like if possible to keep it to one device, so ideally am looking for a combined alarm, and as compact as possible. (The ones I’ve seen are a bit large at 15cm diameter.)

Has anyone got any suggestions?

I’d be wary of using a combined unit. As far as I know, a smoke alarm is best sited on the ceiling away from walls, and a CO detector should be on a wall 5ft from the ground, usually close to a sleeping area.
An all in one unit must therefore be less effective and in my eyes unsafe.
